Another blog...

The Rakino Ratepayers Association has set up their own official blog in an effort to control the dissemination of information, here.

You may notice some similarities to this site :). I hope that this is a step towards them becoming more transparent and informing the public of their works and that they report the unvarnished truth. I see no point in attempting to rival them.

Dead Cars

Hey,

The council has given the OK to have a freebee car removal period for the next couple of weeks. People just have to let Maurice know which ones they want removed.

Thanks,
Alistair.

Afternoon,

There will be a moritorium that will be starting in the next week or
so in removing cars off Rakino Island. We have been advised that
there are currently 10 cars that have been spotted on the island by
Morris Brown for removal which we will be taking off first hand.

If there is more than that on the island, we can possibly remove a few
extra in the next financial year.

Off the top of my head, I think that there has been in place for a while a $50 car removal at any time.
